Nolah Signature Mattress Materials and Composition

The Nolah Signature Mattress is an all-foam mattress that is made up of three different layers. The first layer is a 2.5-inch layer of Nolah’s proprietary AirFoam™. This foam is designed to contour to your body while also providing excellent support and pressure relief. Beneath the AirFoam layer is a 1.5-inch thick layer of high-resilience polyfoam for cushioning and support.

The thick, 7-inch support core layer consists of high-density foam, with a transition layer separating it from the comfort layers. Altogether, the Signature mattress composition is designed for optimal comfort, structure, and support from an all-foam mattress.

Signature Mattress Support and Comfort Ratings

Like the Nolah Original mattress, the Signature 12 is a comfortable, supportive option that offers more plush thickness than some of the other bed-in-a-box mattresses on the market.

Firmness

The Nolah Signature Mattress is rated as a medium-firm to firm mattress. This means that it will provide you enough pressure relief to reduce body aches and pains while also keeping you from sinking into the mattress.

Contouring

The Nolah Signature Mattress does an excellent job of contouring to your body. This is due to the fact that it is made with Nolah’s proprietary AirFoam™. This foam contours to your body while also providing excellent support and pressure relief.

Bounce

The Nolah Signature Mattress does not have much bounce to it. This is due to the fact that it is made with memory foam. Memory foam mattresses are known for their lack of bounce and their ability to contour to your body.

Pain & Pressure Relief

The Nolah Signature Mattress is an excellent choice if you are looking for a mattress that will help to alleviate back and side pain. This is due to the fact that it provides good support and pressure relief, making it easy for your body to relax fully while sleeping.

Spine Alignment

The Nolah Signature Mattress does an excellent job of aligning your spine. This is due to the fact that it provides good support and pressure relief. Additionally, the Nolah Signature Mattress also contours to your body, which helps to reduce any pain or discomfort that you may be feeling in your back or sides.

Nolah Signature Mattress Features

In addition to the comfort, support, and pressure relief offered by mattresses, it is important to consider the other important features that can influence your sleep quality. Here’s how the Nolah Signature stacks up.

Motion Isolation

The Nolah Signature Mattress does an excellent job of isolating motion. This is due to the fact that it is made with memory foam. Memory foam mattresses are known for their ability to isolate motion and prevent it from transferring across the mattress.

Temperature Regulation

The Nolah Signature Mattress does a good job of regulating temperature despite being an all-foam mattress. This is due to the fact that its cover is made with high-quality, breathable materials that help you stay cool and comfortable throughout the night.

Edge Support

The Nolah Signature Mattress has good edge support. This is due to the fact that it is made with high-density base foam. This foam provides support and durability for the mattress, making it easy for you to get in and out of bed.

Sleeper Style and the Signature Mattress

An illustration of a woman in four positions. From left to right, she is lying on her back, on her right side, on her left side, and on her stomach.

The Nolah Signature Mattress is ideal for a variety of sleepers. It provides good support and pressure relief, making it especially comfortable for back and side sleepers who want something that will keep them comfortable throughout the night.

Side Sleepers

The Nolah Signature Mattress is a great choice for side sleepers. It contours to your body and provides excellent pressure relief on the hips, making it easy for you to get comfortable and fall asleep.

Back Sleepers

For back sleepers, this mattress is just right – not too soft and not too firm. The Nolah Signature will provide the perfect amount of support to keep your spine aligned while you sleep.

Stomach Sleepers

Stomach sleepers may find the Nolah Signature to be too soft, as they need a firmer mattress to keep their hips and pelvis from sinking in too far.

Combination Sleepers

The Nolah Signature is a great choice for combination sleepers, as it’s a versatile mattress that can accommodate all sleep styles. If you move and switch positions overnight, the Nolah will accommodate your motion and contour around your hips and spine, keeping you comfortable and supported.

Body Size and Sleep Quality

A slender woman sleeps comfortably on her Nolah Signature 12 mattress.

How much you weigh often affects the quality of your sleep and your preference for different mattress types.

Light Sleepers

If you’re a light sleeper, the Nolah Signature Mattress may be a good choice for you. It is a bit on the softer side, so it may provide better pressure relief for those who are lighter in weight.

Average Sleepers

The Nolah Signature Mattress is also a good choice for average sleepers. It provides good support and pressure relief, making it comfortable for those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds.

Heavyset Sleepers

If you’re a heavy sleeper, the Nolah Signature Mattress may not be the best choice for you. It is a bit on the softer side, so it may not provide enough support for those who weigh more than 230 pounds.

Final Take on Nolah Signature 12 Reviews
